Continuous Flight Auger Piles (CFA)

250mm – 750mm to 25.5m depth

This is a cost-effective way of piling through made ground, sands, gravels or any unstable water bearing strata, eliminating the need for temporary casing and Tremmie techniques.

Essentially the auger is drilled to achieve the required depth. When this is achieved, concrete is pumped through the auger as the auger is being withdrawn. The reinforcement cage is then placed through the wet concrete. Our Soilmec, Klemm, B15000 and T15000 rigs are used for this type of pile.

The choice of rig is dependent on access, size of project and number of piles required. Piles may be filled using conventional concrete or sand/cement grout, depending on production output and accessibility.

Check out our Resources page for details of all our rigs.

What we do

Pilling

We have a range of equipment to construct different pile types to suit project size, access restrictions, soil types and pile loads.

Piled Retaining Walls

These can be constructed in either contiguous or secant arrangement depending on soil type and water table level.

Reinforced Concrete Works

To provide a substructure package, we can construct associated concrete works that will tie your piles together.
