With an access width of 1.8 metres, this block of 4 houses in Haslemere Surrey posed a difficult buildabilty issue for the main contractor.
We proposed 22no 219mm diameter pre-bored driven cased pile and a system of ground beams which would minimise the issue of spoil disposal, especially given that the access route was onto the High Street.
Piles were driven to a set in the sands at approximately 7 metres. Piling works were carried out start to finish within a week.
