Piled Retaining Walls

These can be constructed in either contiguous or secant arrangement depending on soil type and water table level

Contiguous Bored

This method of piling creates a retaining wall to restrain the strata while excavations are carried out to form basements or to maximise the usable space on a site.
Piles may form part of the permanent structure or be used solely for the temporary excavation stage. They can be designed as either free cantilever or propped.

Secant Walls

If required, in water bearing or granular strata, piles can be interlinked in ‘secant’ construction to prevent the water entering into the excavation or prevent the granular material becoming dislodged during the excavation stage.

What we do

Pilling

We have a range of equipment to construct different pile types to suit project size, access restrictions, soil types and pile loads.
